 Pool Hours Daily, beginning Tuesday June 11, 2019 - 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Snack Shack Hours -  11:00 AM to 4:00 PM Tuesday through Thursday, 11:00 AM to 7:00 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
 **The Pool and Snack Shop hours of operation are subject to change based on weather conditions. In case of inclement weather, please call the Club to be sure the pool is available.**

In order to make this a safe and fun summer, we ask that you follow these rules, which are solely designed with everyone’s safety in mind.

General Policies

· ​Upon arriving, please sign-in on the clipboard located at the Snack Shop. 
· The Pool may be used only when lifeguards are present. When the "Pool Closed" sign is posted, no members or guests are allowed the use of the         Pool.
· Lifeguards will have the authority to declare the Pool unsafe for Swimming, due to storms, water conditions, etc.
· ​Lifeguards' instructions and directions must be obeyed.
· ​Swimmers must leave the water upon the request of a lifeguard.
· Children 15 years of age and under must, at all times, be accompanied by a parent or a dependable individual 18 years of age or older, designated       by the parents, to be responsible for their care while in the Pool and/or Pool area.
· Babysitters, nannies, or au pairs, over the age of 18 may accompany children by paying the daily guest fee and must abide by all Club rules,               including the dress code. It is the responsibility of the member to review all Club rules with them.
· ​Lifeguards are not responsible for babysitting.
· ​In the event of a storm, please clear the Pool area in a quick, but safe, manner. The Club follows the 30 minute lightning rule which requires the         Pool to be cleared for at least 30 minutes following thunder or lightning.
· The Board will support the Manager or staff decision in all matters of safety.
· ​Adults (18 and over) have priority on the use of lounge chairs. Use of lounge chairs by children is permitted when available, but children may be         asked to make chairs available to adults requesting their use.
· Smoking is not permitted in the any of the pool areas
· Cell phones must be on silent/vibrate while at the pool. Brief and discreet phone conversation is permitted only in the lounge seating area or               outside the pool area.
· Club management, under the discretion of the House Committee, is responsible for all activity at the swimming pool. Any complaints or suggestions     concerning the pool should be addressed to Club Manager, Jason Equi at Ext. 114.

· General behavior and water safety rules are prescribed and enforced by the Club Manager, Pool Supervisor and Lifeguards. Failure to obey their           instructions will result in the loss of pool privileges.
· The Club Manager has the right the close the pool facilities prior to regularly scheduled hours for club events.    
· ​OYRCC’s Management, Board, and Staff are not responsible for valuables or other belongings brought to, or left at the pool, pool house, or                  locker area. Please be sure to take all of your belongings with you when you leave.
 
Guest Privileges
· ​All members and their guests must register at the Snack Shack upon entering the pool area and appropriate charges must be signed for by the           member.
· ​Guest fees will be applied for all non-members. The maximum number of times any one guest may use the pool is six times per year.
· Special guest rates or other restrictions may be imposed for holiday or special event use of the pool.
· ​There is a $5.00 fee for guests over the age of 6. Children under 5 are free.
· ​Members shall be responsible at all times for the conduct of their family members and guests while on Club property.
 
Swimming Pool Dress Code and Locker Rooms
· ​Members and guests are expected to wear proper pool attire. No cutoffs please.
· ​Cover-ups should be worn to and from the swimming pool area.
· ​Pool locker rooms are available for member and guest changing. Members/Guests/Children are expected to change to appropriate attire before           utilizing all other areas of the club. Change of clothes must occur in the pool locker room.
· ​The pool locker room is a shared space. Please be mindful and do not leave towels and wet clothing on the floor.
 
Swimming Pool Refreshments and Food
· ​All food and beverage must be purchased at the club. None may be brought in from the outside.
· Food and beverage may be consumed only in designated areas and may not be taken into the pool.
· ​Glassware is not permitted anywhere in the pool area
· ​All food or bar checks must be signed by ADULTS ONLY.
· ​No Gum chewing anywhere in the pool area
· ​All trash is to be placed in the containers provided

Prohibited Activity
· ​Pool staff, acting under direction of the Club Manager, is responsible for supervision and control of all matters relating to the pool and pool area.     
· Staff may refuse privileges to anyone who, in his or her judgment, violates the swimming pool rules.
· ​The following activities are considered unsafe or unhealthy: Running, wrestling, pushing, dunking, "rough-housing" ball playing, and standing on          shoulders and are not permitted anywhere in the pool area, including the locker rooms.
· ​No Jumping close to people in the pool or close to the edge
· ​Water Balloons are not permitted.

Sanitation and Health
· ​The Pennsylvania State Law requires all bathers to take a shower before entering the pool.
· ​Club Staff has the authority to refuse the use of the pool to anyone suffering from  a cold, sore throat, skin infection, bandaged wounds, or other          illness.
· ​The Wading Pool is open to all non-swimmers under 7. Children in the wading  pool must be under adult supervision at all times, and are not the          responsibility of the lifeguard. 
· ​All children not toilet trained must wear clean swim diapers in the big pool and the wading pool. Closure of either pool due to an accident resulting        from a member's child or guest not wearing swim diapers will result in that member  being reported to Club Manager and the House Committee          and incurring all charges to clean the pool properly.
· ​Any child using a flotation device to enhance their swimming ability must be actively supervised by an adult.
· Toys, masks, fins, snorkels or other types of equipment may be used at the discretion of the pool staff.​
 
 Pool privileges are included in all membership categories except Dining. If you wish to purchase a pool membership, the cost is $480 for a Family        or $420 for an Individual. Call Kathy Huff at Ext. 115 to sign up.
